Danny works as a sound designer and composer on theatre, installation, music and media projects for internationally recognised arts & heritage organisations, theatre and media companies. This has included prime-time television programmes, immersive site-specific experiences, and interactive multi-media installations. His work has appeared throughout the UK and internationally in Europe, the USA and Australia including in the British National Exhibit at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space.

Danny’s work has been described as "stunning”, “tight, meaningful”, “integral”, “expertly timed”, “sharp, often menacing”, “suitably eerie” and “crystal clear”. In her review of Crusoe, Jo Tomalin noted that: “the original music and sound design by Danny Bright could be the most beautiful of the Fringe. The musical variety is visceral, luxe, jazzy and more. It can not help but make you feel something – and be transported.”
